This month is the 2010 Eminent Domain Seminar and Golf Tournament in San Marcos, hosted annually by Chapter 74 and Chapter 39.  This is a two day event with the Golf Tournament being Thursday, September 9th and the Seminar being Friday, September 10th.  If you have not yet registered, a registration form is included on page 5.  All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the “Make-a-Wish Foundation” of Central/South Texas.  Your support in the form of sponsorship of a hole, donation of a golf related gift for the raffle, or cash donation is greatly appreciated.  Please make a note there is no September luncheon due to the annual 2010 ED Seminar in San Marcos, TX.

Also, Course #105: The Uniform Act- Executive Summary will be offered this month for 8 credit hours so be sure to take advantage of that opportunity. More online courses are being added to each Right of Way discipline so don’t forget to check out www.irwaonline.org for any courses you may need.  IRWA is always trying to better accommodate and improve education opportunities, so please take a few minutes to fill out the course interest survey.  The link for the survey is posted on page 8.  In doing so, you will help IRWA’s Region and Chapter leaders prioritize the scheduling of future educational offerings.

Sincerely,

Lory R. Johnson, MAI, SR/WA

President
