President's Corner

Chapter 74 was well represented last month at the Winter Forum in New Orleans with over 10 of our members attending. We have a very strong chapter and are part of a great Region.  Our success is due to the great members and leaders that we have year after year.

The Happy Hour at Maria Maria downtown was a really fun time and we had a good turnout. We are planning on having at least one more Happy Hour this year and would love for all members to come. More information will follow in future newsletters.

Our luncheon will be held at Joe’s Crab Shack this month, but we are looking into new locations for future luncheons due to increasing member attendance. If you have any ideas please send them to me or our Programs Chairs, Dean Harris and Virginia Pompa.

The next IRWA events in which Chapter 74 will be involved are the International Education Conference held in Calgary at the end of June and the IRWA Region 2 Refresher Seminar in College Station in August. We will keep you updated on these events as details are released.
